This year we enjoyed watching our Early Years children perform their nativity play called ‘Christmas Counts’. It was wonderful to see so much joy and happiness as they dressed up in their costumes and performed their songs.
We then enjoyed the Key Stage One classes perform ‘Everyone Loves a Baby’. There were some wonderful songs, acting and of course laughter as the children acted this nativity story out. The joy radiated from the faces of all the children, and the words ‘Everyone Loves a Baby’ definitely remained on everyone’s tongue for a good while afterwards.
Both stories were based on the nativity and told the wonderful story of the birth of Jesus, both in very different ways, but both demonstrated through love and enjoyment.
