Forest School
Welcome to Our Forest School Program! 🌲We are lucky enough that our forest school is located within our own beautiful grounds.
At our Forest School, we believe in the power of nature to inspire learning, creativity, and adventure. Our program is designed to provide children with hands-on experiences that foster their connection to the environment. Here, students explore the great outdoors, engage in imaginative play, and develop essential life skills through a variety of fun activities.

- Fire Making and Roasting Marshmallows: Learn the art of building a safe fire and enjoy the delicious treat of roasted marshmallows—a fun way to understand the importance of fire safety!
- Playing in the Mud Kitchen: Get messy while cooking up imaginative dishes in our outdoor mud kitchen. This sensory experience encourages creativity and cooperative play.
- Wand Making with Sticks: Children can create their very own magical wands or other imaginative items using twigs and natural materials, sparking their creativity and storytelling abilities.
- Tree Identification: Little nature explorers will learn to identify different trees by their leaves and bark, fostering an appreciation for biodiversity.
- Pond Dipping: A hands-on approach to discovering the aquatic life in our pond! Children can observe and learn about various creatures living in and around the water.
- Bug Hunting: Children embark on a mini-adventure to find and learn about bugs and insects, enhancing their understanding of ecosystems and the roles these creatures play in nature.
- Making Animal Shelters for Winter: Engage in a practical project where students create shelters for local wildlife, teaching them about compassion and the importance of caring for our environment.
